Why Bali?
1
Bali Catamarans are manufactured by French company Catana Group, who has been manufacturing the worlds most prestigious performance catamarans for the past 40 years.
2
While other catamaran brands use balsa as their main component, Bali's use closed cell foam panels. Although much more expensive, since it does not absorb water, it provides lightness and durability.
3
Because of its lower weight and its rigid formation, Bali's have a solid platform on the front deck rather then the tramboline that we see in standard catamarans. The platform creates and additional lifting force during pitching, that prevents the bow from pounding the waves. You can sit comfortably on the front cockpit during sailing without getting sprayed.
4
Because of its narrower hull design under the waterline, friction is minimized to enhance performance. The hull widens above the waterline creating larger cabins while allowing for a form that decreses spray.
5
In the Aegean and the Mediterrenean, daily life is spent mainly outdoors. In Bali Catamarans, due to the 'garage door', the saloon area can become an indoor living space in seconds. So rather than having 2 smaller saloons, one indoor and one outdoor, you can have a large saloon area that can either be used as an indoor or an outdoor living space. In very cold and very hot weather, you can use the AC and still maintain a 360 degrees field of view without experiencing the closed space feeling.
6
The window that opens towards the front cokpit creates a current inside the boat, keeping the main living space ventilated at all times. In very warm weather, this also allows for the aft cockpit to remain cool. This window also allows for easier communication with the front deck. In 42 ft and bigger models, the door opening between the saloon and the front deck make it easier to navigate between two living spaces.
7
In Bali's, the kitchens are functionaliy designed to allow the owners to create delicious meals. The refrigerator capacities in Bali's are always biggest in its segment.
8
The 3 main living spaces in the Bali's, allows for the crew to have their own space, and in crowded voyages, allows the passangers to group off in seperate parts of the boat.
9
The flyrbridges are especially functional in Bali's. They are designed to be as large and as functional as possible. This allows for a more fun sailing experience as well as easier maneuverability. The seating areas on the flyrbridge allows for other passengers to spend time on the flyrbidge while sailing, allowing the captain to have a more social sailing experience.
10
The mast is moved backwards to centralize the center of gravity of the boat. This lessens the pitching movement of the boat in rough seas. Bu da daha büyük ve self-tacking cenova ile orsa seyrinde performansı arttırır.
